How we think and talk and react is rooted in our unconscious. This is because it has been forming over years of conditioning since birth. This conditioning shapes patterns and beliefs that can influence how we feel and behave and this then drives our emotional reactions and subsequent coping and defence mechanisms.

It is important to take a step back, observe and process those thoughts and emotions to better understand ourselves, this self-awareness enables us to choose our responses to lifes challenges. Knowing ourselves and understanding that with help and practice we can take ownership of our thoughts gives us the power and control to make choices and to free our emotions to live the best life we can.
